I am a lifelong Seattleite, lifelong photographer, and lifelong learner. A broad understanding and perspective of all fine arts influences my photography; I like mixing aesthetics and content that are not usually combined. As a professional photographer I have mostly done portraits and fashion.
I received a B.F.A. with an emphasis in Photography and a Philosophy minor from University of California at Santa Barbara. I took a semester abroad to attend a photographic design school in New Zealand, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and honing my skills. Travel is one of my biggest passions, I have been to about 15 countries, and relish the small details and cultural differences that provide such great photos. Also, the surfeit of small details and cultural quirks that make my hometown unique is always an inspiration to my art.
As I have experienced, experimentation is the path to understanding, and I am excited to see a variety of unique approaches to style and composition from all our tour participants
