Your staff! Excellent picks - - they were informative and made everyone feel welcome and at ease! And inspired us to take pictures from the "mundane to the unusual." Your format! I just wanted to mention how much fun I had on my tour. Terry was a great guide. Even having lived in the area for a while now, I really enjoyed the bits of information about Seattle that he was able to provide. I loved that my tour turned out to be just for me and only one other very nice person, so the attention we got was great. Within the first hour I was looking at everything around me from a different perspective. The three hours flew by and I was amazed to find that I'd taken more than 200 pictures! Hi Terry, I just wanted tell you more about the amazing Shutters Tour given by Kristi on Memorial Day 2009. Kristi was so friendly and knowledgeable. She shares a great attitude and love for the city of Seattle and photography which is contagious for everyone involved. The 3 hour tour was truly amazing. It made me forget about everything going on in my busy life and it truly forced me to open my eyes and take in all the beauty of this city I call home. I now feel rejuvenated and have a fresh perspective on life, photography and forgotten treasures of Seattle. It is truly about the simple things. I'm looking forward to going on the tour again soon. We spent almost three hours touring downtown Seattle on what was supposed to be a group tour but ended up being a private one! Shutter Tours is a great concept with a twist on the traditional guided tour. Not only did I learn some interesting facts about Seattle, but as we walked around I also learned the ins and outs of taking great travel photos. Here are some of my favorite shots of the day, I will let the pictures do the talking for this entry!

I enjoyed learning some history of the city. It was a beautiful, sunny day, the sights were spectacular and "The Bluest Skies you have ever seen are in Seattle"! I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to take better pictures and want a personable tour.

This tour was great fun! Besides an interesting tour on a warm, sunny day, I enjoyed the tips given to us by Kristi and Terry. I've always taken photos with mainly the subject in mind. After following their guidelines, I was able to see the shot as a composition. It was exciting to see all the possibilities for great captures once I knew what to look for.
