- Please see our April 15th Update
Updated: March 20th, 2017
This is a question we get asked many times throughout the early part of the year, and we don’t know for certain. As of yesterday, March 19th 2017, the Daffodils were just starting to come into bloom. I took a flight up to the tulip fields to survey from the air and there were about 7 Daffodil fields in bloom, so the tulips are not too far behind.

Tulip Bloom Time in 2017
In 2016 the tulips were extremely early, and we started to see colors as early as March 16th. By the end of March, the fields were in full bloom for the early varieties. For 2017 we are going to be seeing colors around the 1st of April for the fields starting to bloom, all dependent on Mother Nature of course. We have had an extremely cold winter this year in the Skagit Valley so thankfully we won’t be caught off guard like we were last year with an early arrival.
