When you look through our website, you may have come across the testimonials page that we are all so proud of here at Shutter Tours. These are real comments from real participants of our Seattle tour and we are thrilled to receive comments such as:
“This tour was truly amazing! Kristi was a fantastic tour guide and had great suggestions for new ways of looking at this city. A really great way to spend 3 hours in the city. I’d recommend this for all levels and interests, whether you are an aspiring photographer, a casual tourist, or anything in between. Thanks! Janice , Seattle”
Yesterday afternoon I had the opportunity to speak with Rodney, one of our guests from Ohio for about a half hour after his tour. He was excited to be in Seattle with the great weather and fun he had with tour guide Valentina. We talked of all things photography, where he was from and his career choice of being a college professor. Earlier this week, I also spoke with Dorothy from California who took the tour a few weeks ago. We talked for quite some time and she gave some great feedback and made some observations that were really helpful.
I love to meet people and that’s what makes being the owner of Shutter Tours so much fun. I get to sit down and talk about photography (Which I can do for hours), meet some great people and also get some feedback on how we are doing. This is really important for us, to be able to provide the best activity we can while you are in Seattle. We have a lot of competition like the Duck Tour, the Seattle Underground Tour and others. All fantastic tours and they are worth taking, as is ours. In order for us to stand out above the noise of the larger companies, I feel it is important to talk to as many participants as I can to see how we are doing for feedback and suggestions.
In these economic times, it can be a challenge for everyone to maximize their budget while traveling. So, we need to provide a service that people will be happy with and take home some great memories of the city we all love.
Based on your feedback, I think we are fulfilling that goal and we thank you.

I received a nice comment from Janice of Seattle, who had taken our tour today with our guide Kristi.
She emailed me the following: “This tour was truly amazing! Kristi was a fantastic tour guide and had great suggestions for new ways of looking at this city. A really great way to spend 3 hours in the city. I’d recommend this for all levels and interests, whether you are an aspiring photographer, a casual tourist, or anything in between. Thanks! ”
The Shutter Tours team really strives to create the best tour in the city for those interested in travel photography. When we get comments like these and those on our testimonials page, it reinforces that we have created the customer experience we envisioned. And it excites us that people have so much fun enjoying the city and learning new photography techniques.
Thanks Janice, we hope our direction and suggestions help you in your future travels.
